Two thousand and seventeen, what a year you have been! My photography business is growing and growing and I’ve been loving the journey. I’ve been to so many amazing places and met countless wonderful people over the last 12 months. Thank you to everyone who has been made this year what it’s been: unforgettable!
I’ve photographed weddings in a heap of different types of venues: churches, gardens, marquees… even the Kooyong Tennis Club. I also shot my very first traditional tea ceremony, which was lovely. I also photographed sweet engagement sessions and special christenings. As the year is wrapping up, I thought I’d put together a few of my favourite shots to sum up my many experiences.
My engagement sessions are aimed to be a true reflection of couple’s beautiful bond. My approach is relaxed, natural and fun; that way, their personality shines through in the images.
Jordan and Andrew: http://mchiller.com/jordan-andrews-engagement-photography/
These two are so lovely together and we got some stunning photos at Andrew’s family farm – what a setting! It was also a great way for them to get to know the way I work before their big wedding day.
Quila and Dave:
It was so nice capturing little giggles between Quila and Dave and seeing those special glances they share. Sparks always fly in these engagement sessions!
It’s been another very busy year of shooting weddings and I’ve been taken to some of the most amazing venues all over Victoria.
Nicole and James: http://mchiller.com/nicole-and-james-wedding-photography/
My skyline shoot in inner Melbourne at the RACV Club was certainly a highlight for me; Nicole and James were fantastic to work with. I love those classic black and white images!
Ben and Louise: http://mchiller.com/louise-and-bens-wedding-photography/
I loved capturing the candid giggles between Ben and Louise as they shared their first dance as husband and wife. They were over the moon!
Carlie and John: http://mchiller.com/carlie-johns-wedding-photography/
This stunning wedding was down near Ballarat at the gorgeous Mt Mitchell Estate. I loved the wide open spaces in the fields during their portrait session.
Britt and Peter: http://mchiller.com/brittany-peters-wedding-photography/
And the wedding that took my breath away… Britt and Peter chose to have their wedding at the Glasshaus. Oh my, I adore this venue!
I also had the joy of photographing christenings this year! These are always full of family love and celebration!
Little Jordan: http://mchiller.com/jordans-christening-photography/
What a beautiful family! Jordan was all dressed up for the big day and looked adorable in his little bow tie and suspenders.
There were, of course, so many other amazing moments in 2017! Each and everyone I worked with this year made it that much better. Thanks to everyone again for letting me be a part of your special days.
